Using mobile phones, outdoor advertisements will be managed, controlled and documented online – making billposting orders more transparent and comprehensible for clients and therefore enhancing customers‘ confidence in out-of-home media.
The billposter receives tour data OTA to his mobile phone and drives to a location. On each billboard, there is an advertisement-motive code and a 2D code (Data Matrix) containing a location code. Using the code-reader application created with Gavitec Lavasphere® technology, the billposter simply points his mobile phone’s camera at both Data Matrix and motive codes on the billboard and scans them. All data is submitted OTA to a back-end server, which provides the designed and qualified data to the ERP system, maintenance data for the media provider and posting data for the customer.
