NeoMedia partnered with Gulfshore Business to provide readers with more interactive access and information with their web-enabled mobile devices.

Approach: 

NeoMedia issued 2D Aztec codes for Gulfshore Business using the keyword “GSBIZ” to link to the interactive mobile web page. The qode application replaces the need to enter http://content.qode.com... with a small mobile keypad and difficult to navigate web menus. The mobile WAP content includes links to sign up for e-mail alerts and consumer surveys about their experience. With the direct access, less time and money is spent to discover and access mobile links. Readers are directly connected to the source of their information.

Results: 

Aztec codes were printed in two issues that were distributed through the Southwest Florida area from Naples to Ft. Myers, Florida. The publication featured the NeoMedia- qode symbology in “More Access, More Option,” in the December 2006 issue and “The Qode Word,” in the January 2007 issue. Articles included download information for the qode software as well as the symbology and keyword.
