NEOM S.C. share points with Al Fateh in a dramatic encounter

NEOM, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia – NEOM S.C. dropped valuable points after being held to a 2–2 draw against Al Fateh in an exciting Round 31 clash of the Roshn Saudi League, played at Al Fateh Club Stadium in Al Ahsa.

Head coach Christophe Galtier started with Marcin Bułka in goal, protected by a back four of Faris Abdi, Nathan Zézé, Ahmed Hegazi, and Mohammed Al Burayk. In midfield, Amadou Koné and Alaa Hejji were joined by Rayane Messi and Said Benrahma, while Luciano Rodríguez and Alexandre Lacazette led the attack.

First Half

NEOM S.C. needed just two minutes to take the lead, with Said Benrahma finishing off a strong individual effort from Rayane Messi. NEOM S.C. controlled the half and created several chances, with Lacazette and Rodríguez both coming close to extending the lead.

Second Half

NEOM S.C. struck again early after the break, as Alaa Hejji doubled the advantage. However, Al Fateh responded through Mourad Batna, who pulled one back following tactical changes. Despite multiple saves from Bułka, NEOM S.C. couldn’t hold on, and Sofiane Bendebka equalized in the 87th minute to secure a point for the hosts.

The result leaves NEOM S.C. in 8th place with 41 points, while Al Fateh move to 30 points in 12th.
